When a Customer Becomes Part of Your Story ❤️

When a Customer Becomes Part of Your Story ❤️

Sometimes a customer places an order.

And sometimes, without even realising it, they become part of your small business story.

Paul is one of those customers.

Paul first ordered from Bran Marion in July, choosing bracelets that celebrated Ireland, America and the connection between the two. 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇸

Not everything went perfectly with that first order. A couple of bracelets weren't the right size.

But that's actually where this story begins.

Instead of getting frustrated, Paul simply told me he'd give the smaller bracelets to someone else, work out the correct sizes and order again.

And he did.

From one order came many conversations

Paul later returned with a much bigger idea.

He wanted bracelets for a group of people, and he genuinely cared about getting each one right.

So we talked.

About wrist sizes. About adjustable clasps. About different ideas. About personalisation.

At one point, I even made a sample just so Paul could see how an idea might look before deciding.

That's one of my favourite things about running Bran Marion.

You're not dealing with a huge, faceless company.

You're talking directly to the person making your bracelet.

If you have an idea, tell me.

If you're unsure about your size, ask me.

If something isn't quite right, talk to me.

I'll always do my best to help.

Then something happened that I won't forget

At one point, an unexpected issue came up with Paul's delivery and I had to ask for his help.

I wasn't particularly comfortable asking.

Paul's response was simple.

He wanted to help.

He made it clear that he didn't want my small family business to be left covering an unexpected cost.

It may have seemed like a small gesture to him.

To me, it wasn't.

Because behind every Bran Marion order is a real person making, packing and sending something that we've created here in Ireland.

And Paul understood that.

Then I saw his name again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Today, Paul left Bran Marion a five-star review.

He spoke about the craftsmanship, the attention to detail and how much better his American Spirit Bracelet looked in person.

He also wrote about his experience with us from beginning to end.

And that's the part that really got me.

Because Paul's experience wasn't perfect because nothing ever went wrong.

It was special because whenever something came up, we talked to each other and found a way forward.

That's the experience I want every person who shops with Bran Marion to have.

This is what shopping small should feel like.

I don't want you to feel like order #4,000-something.

I want you to feel comfortable emailing me and saying:

“Bran, I'm not sure what size I need.”

“Could you make something slightly different?”

“I've got an idea…”

Or even:

“Something isn't right. Can you help?”

Because there's a person on the other side.

And I'll answer.

That's something a small family business can offer that doesn't fit neatly inside a product description.

A human experience.

A bracelet handmade for you.

A conversation when you need one.

And someone who genuinely cares that you're happy when you open that package.

Paul, thank you. ❤️

Thank you for your orders.

Thank you for trusting my work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review.

But above all, thank you for the kindness you've shown our little family business along the way.

You gave Bran Marion five stars today.

But your support has meant much more than five stars to us.

From our family here in Ireland to you in America —

thank you for being part of our story. 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇸

God bless,

Bran
